The Duncan 802
Local police website and download their fac application - fill in and send off with fee. you'll need land to shoot on and 2 referees for your character and be of good standing from the feo's point of view. Phantom 631
Depends on the force as to wether you'll get it off the net or not. I had to visit the local station (ooohhhh look at me being polite!) to ask for a form. What a fecking polarvah that was but thats another story! Tony Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
Tony, the form is the same for any force. It's a Home Office prescribed standard form, so you can download one from a different force and use it. Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
I didn't know that Matt, I spent ages on the humberside force sit looking for it and couldn't find the damn thing, Walked to the local station and the dumb sod spent ages running backwards and forwards looking for it, in between me constantly having to explain I wanted a FAC and not an SGC certificate, Eventually she said "We've run out, we've had a run on them, I'll take your details and ring Firearms at Queens Gardens (Force HQ) and get them to send you one" I had to tell her that FireArms isn't at QG it's only the Range thats there and that F.A. is located at Tower Grange Station. A week later, I got the form with a note from (yep) the woman I was talking to at Cottingham, not from Tower Grange. I thought it was force dependant because it's got "Humberside Police" printed all over it. Guess thats my "Summat new" learned for today Tony Edited October 20, 2011 by Phantom Quote Link to post
