S410 pumps up to 190 BAR so no 16 BAR would be no good lol :D

Just get a good stirrup pump or buy i diving bottle :)

Whatever you do never fully run the gun of air if your pumping it up with a stirrup cos it takes forever to pump back up lol :11:

[bANNED TEXT], NEVER use compressed air to fill ya gun, even if ya found a compressor to do it, the damage ya can do to ya gun an more importantly ya self could be fatal. compressed air has a high water content which will damage the rubber seals in the cylinder an if they blow wi a full charge ya fecked. ya can gat a decent set up for about 100 quid. bottle, adaptor ect. if ya buy a second hand bottle tho make sure the safety test stamp is still valid cos if it int when ya take the bottle to be filled the,ll chop it up.

Stirrup pump :good::good:

Although there are 2 filters ( particle and moisture ) , I'd still like to know if the quality of air is going to have any long term effects on the gun , as opposed to dive bottle air.

Is a stirrup pump OK to use 100% of the time , or should they be regarded as a stop-gap if you run out of bottle air ??

190 bar = 2,755.7170221 pound/square inch ( it must be right, the computer said so)

Mr Darcy, you were the closest, step forward and collect your prize :clapper:

The test stamp does need to be in date alec but they most certainly won't chop up the bottle if it's not they just won't fill the bugger for you ............. it's no sweat if it's out of test anyway just take it to your nearest diving shop they should be able to test it there for you cost's around £10 had mine done a couple of months ago cost £16 and that included filling it as well ;)
