Apparently a french make? Might not be the correct spelling, it comes with a trial and is only being sold as the guy is emmigrating.

Apparently is "Sable" not "Saple"? Still not convinced as the guy whos texting me the details is as dyslexic as the come, bless him. Its a 4 hour round trip to see it and i'd rather have a bit more info before commiting a weekend day to it.

so why not phone him, talk on phone as you get much more info than texts, then phone up a dealer and try to get an approx value and recomendations on if its good or not

Good point, the guy Im talking to is a friend of mine and the seller is a friend of his who I dont know. It only came up because my friend is having his .243 off him and mentioned the .22 in passing. All a bit chinese whispers to be honest, I am awaiting pictures and full make and model details which should shed some light on it.
