greyhound racing armadale?

havent been the dog racing for quite a few years since i went with my old man and got carried home with a thick ear for drinking underneath the stands

 

i know theres whippet racing over the kincardine bridge and im gonna go and gove that a look but im looking for anybody who knows anything about the greyhound racing track in armadale. i have been there once before to watch the speedway but wanted to find out when the dog races were on and times etc. gonna see if a few mates wanna go along for a drink and a bit of a laugh. the atmosphere was superb if i can remember rightly and it will make a change from hitting the town and getting lifted

 

every time ive been past it looks shut but i have seen a few grey being lifted out of vans and walked around so it must still be on.

 

any help appreciated. cheers

Don't know about Armadale,but Shawfield just down from Glasgow Green,still run a card,15min from Queen St Station for a Yommper !

just looked on google and they say the dog racing is on mondays and tuesdays but no timings, contact info or anything?

whippet racing on at armadale on the 6 nov mate think it will be in the morning not sure what time yet

i'm sure they race at armadale on thurs and sat , theres greyhound racing at thornton on a wed and sat starts at 7pm

have to have a look and see what i can find out. armadale is just down the road from me so we could walk(stumble) it home.
