paint for inside/outside

am getting on with building a hut and converting it for the ferrets,ill soon need to paint the inside and outside and could use some help picking the best paint for the job,i know theres been similar posts in the past spose am just being lazy not searching as a dont want to miss the start of the scotland game.

 

i still have some cuprinol paint i could use for outside but probaly best getting something thicker

 

any helps appreciated,cheers

I used that cuprinol stuff but I think it's shite tbh. I'd use cuprinol on the inside and a fence/ shed paint on the outside.

 

I'm moving house in a few weeks and could do with your spare hutch for the ferrets ;) pass it my way please Joe lol I'll gee you some brass for it. Pm me

dont think that stuff would be any good on the inside,it rubs off the outside when wet lol,dont think the ferrets would enjoy the taste :D

 

no problem,you can have it for nuttin when its good to go,still need to get few sheets of ply etc for the inside of the hut

Aye your right mate. The cuprinol wipes of a bit when wet but I've got it on mine and they don't mind it. There going outside at this new place so I'll have to re paint it on the outside with something

Ive just got shed and fence paint on the outside, red cedar. On the inside I painted it with emulsion, wish I didnt now as

its started flaking off :thumbdown:

emulsions fine if dry u must have a damp bit ... if u dont mind the look get creosote and old engine oil last for ever for the outside

i remember seeing a post were a member used gloss,just need something that will last and will be easy to remove shit from lol,the easyer it is to clean the better
