how to deal with voles in old mole runs

a customer has called me in to deal with a mole issue at the top end of there lawn. which i can deal with no problem

However the middle of the lawn has had moles in previous years & the old runs have holes all the way along them

I'm guessing voles are using them,

 

how is the best way to get rid of them

Here's a 6 minute youtube video I shot showing what we do for the voles here. This works very well if you have a few voles that have gotten into old mole runs. For a very heavy infestation of them, it probably would be more efficient to use some type of vole bait.

Theres a lot of voles about this year it seems as soon as you clear the moles they,re straight in it
