byron 1,279 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Share Posted September 30, 2011 well me mate was picking up [partridges] behind the pickers up yesterday,,on the estate next door, they picked 90 plus birds,,out of a total of over two and a half thousand.. :icon_eek: the previous week they shot a thousand brace of grouse one day and twelve hundred birds the day after.. some serious shooting dont you think.. FTB And long may it continue As well as the money that Grouse shooting brings to an area, the managment of moorland for shooting improves the habitat for many other species too.
