help sending scope to simmons for mending

just to up date scope went back to bushnell they said they couldnt repair the scope and it was a faulty scope at the minute they have sent me a replacement wich is a bushnell scope when the one i sent back was a simmons scope and the one they have sent me is a shitty chinese made one they have had the audacity to tell me the one they have sent me is more expensive then the one i originally bought ... i am not happy an im still trying to resolve this matter with bushnell an i am not happy with the after sales service .. these scopes bushnell are putting there names on are cheap chinese shit there finish and the overall product is shit my advice is not to buy simmons or bushnell because if anything goes wrong with them the aftersales is shit..... if i ever get this matter resolved and bushnell redeem themselves i will let you people know but as it stands i am not happy with the service i have received..... please dont forget simmons scopes is now owned by bushnell and at the minute are a very bad buy :thumbdown:

will you post the full address of the place you sent your scope as i want to post a one of to them for repair and we will see if they come up with the same service thanks dave.

cheers davy not having much joy with this company seems they dont live up to there expectations an import cheap chinese shit with there name on it bad do for me an bad buy by the looks of things.... simmons bushnell :censored:

i had no joy with the co. in blackpool and just hit a brickwall when trying to find a UK dealership for simmons when i visited the U.S.website they did not list the UK so the scope i wanted to have repaired under the simmons warranty is still with me boxed up but no address to send it to . if you get a result i would be gratefull if you let me have the information so i can have my scope fixed but if you don't get anyone in this country to do the job under warranty we should warn anyone who is thinking of buying simmons to make sure simmons will honuor the LIFETIME WARRANTY as this is a major factor to consider when you purchase any sort of goods . a.t.b. dave.

Never had no trouble with my simmons 4x40 night veiw scope and its had some hammer over the last 12 years.I recently used one of the hawk scopes one which the cross hairs light up and was impressed with it.atb dell

Sorry to hear about your scope OT'er. I have used Simmons for a long time now on a variety of guns and have yet to have a problem as they seem to be very well made, and i've really given them some hammer.

i hadnt but just this one was faulty an now bushnell have bought simmons there wank but the old simmons scope wich were made in the philipines were the dogs bollox mate they really were value for money but once companys change hands things go down the pan

bushnell have only owned simmons a couple of year think weve seen the best of simmons mate
