I have one of them and i use for dispatching vermin (larson ect) and would say that, whilst they are good for plinking at cans and targets as for shooting animals at distance with them i can say that without question they are NOT UP FOR THE JOB.

Not wishing to cause a scene but if a 12 ft.lb air rifle has an effective range of 30m... how a pistol with less than half that grunt going to three time that with enough wack and accuracy to kill... it ain't.

Like i say they are great fun and this one looks to be in great condition .

as said not mine,my balls up meant to put 100 ft. :icon_redface:

:victory: Thats what i thought you meant mate. :drink: . i wasn't having a pop. They are a good laugh for plinking and will certainly be good for dispatching stuff like corvoids in larson traps etc if you are vested interest in keeping your fingers ;)

Im still a little confused? It will kill Rabbits up to hundred yards?

No..

Stabs.. thats when i got mine, same cal. Cost a fortune :icon_eek: and i had to go on a waiting list as they were so popular. I promptly lost the rear site so had to put a telescopic on.. i also shot myself in the leg (just missing my balls) after wearing it in my belt.

In your belt? :clapper:

I got mine for the birds in the traps we used to set on the land-fills. I did have a proper pistol too, but that was too noisy for tapping the corvids. We used to work alongside the tipper drivers so the least noise the better. You did get a few funny looks when you pulled out a pistol with a sight on it. It looked quite butch for an air pistol really.

100 foot or 100 ft? :icon_redface: What's the difference :hmm: , it's still over 30 odd yards! Perhaps you meant to put 10 (Ten) ft? Looks ok for rats, squirrels or birds in traps, that's all.

i dont do guns,so f**k knows how far, i put in first post 100 metres but i edited it after i was told of my mistake, mate says he`s shot at and stopped a bunnie at 100 feet,i cant say if he did or not..?i know he had a red dot sight on it if that means anything.?give me a lurcher anyday.

Intresting the macho names these makers give to air weapons........MAGNUM...... :D ........sort of conjurs up the Dirty Harry image.........I can see Stabs now....."Now crow, Did I fire 5 or 6?........do you feel lucky punk?........well, do ya!?":laugh:

Looks like it would be fun ;)
