hi mate she was a rescue about 16 month old now.she is such a loving animal and has phenominal prey drive.its just we used to race whips years ago and thought why not give her a go but the dogs at the track look so light now i dont know if she would comply with the current "trend" years ago all shapes and sizes could run if you know what i mean. Thanks for your kind comments.

ther may well be mate!(probably to be fair) but just thought if she could then it would also be another outlet for her she does love to chase like! like i said she is a lovely animal either way it dont matter if she cant she has other uses but the racing thing would have been a bit of nostalgia for me and my dad thats all.

Try her with a bit of lure racing maybe?

then move on to the track if she makes the grade on the lure.

I dont quite know myself mate, as i don't run whippets, but i expect over 150 yards, a good dog would should be running it in under 10 seconds.

Heres a link i found for you, take a look.
