Breeding a bitch after losing pup

I know there are times that people lose the pup that they kept back after breeing a bitch but I was wondering what other people would do? Would you breed the bitch right away even if it has only been a year or less since she had the pups or would you wait?

depends on age of bitch, size of the other litter shehad and how much it took out of her. but realy dont see problem if shes healthy and coped well before.

if it was a replacement for the older dog ect and she did ok with the pups i would yes to keep the blood line

would never breed a litter for just 1 pup under any circumstances, all the pups would need to have homes before the bitch would even be lined.

if the dog was bred from last season/year for the reason of keeping a pup and you lost it i dont see any reason why shouldnt breed again for a pup. you thought the bitch was good enough to breed from before the only thing that should have changed is she is older.
