big scott 6
Just got myself a FAC Daystate Harrier x2, its knocking on a bit so asked my local dealer for a price for a full service, he comes back with £350 so needless to say i told him to stick that price up his bum. Told me that only Daystate can do the work as specialist tools are needed, IS THIS RIGHT or can i tackel it myself Or if any one Knows someone in the North East who is a dab hand Quote Link to post
mikeyblue 28
£350, dont know where he pulled that figure from!! I used to have a Daystate MK3 (sub 12ft/lbs ) and that was pretty simple to service myself. The X2 is a similar action. I just brought a few seals off Ebay for pennies and did the work myself. I replaced the seals gave it all a good de-gunging, and polished the hammer. This link may help but its for the MK3, but dont think there will be many differences. http://www.freewebs.com/stripdowns/mk3sstrip.htm Hope this helps a little. Mikey. 1 Quote Link to post
