The one 8,621 Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 We went lamping at my work last night its a uni campus and this would be the last time till xmas as the students are back next week . I invited a mate out hopefully to get a few shots and get some rabbits and with him in the passenger seat and me driving and my son behind me covering my side we set off ,it was very slow for some reason and i thought it was cold at 9.5 degrees but we soon got into the rabbits and the tally mounted up .Starting at 10pm and finishing at 04,00 am i called a halt and the tally was thirty rabbits with two small ones i didn't count . Tallying the count for the summer holidays i was shocked to find we had taken over two hundred and fifty rabbits off of four hundred and sixty acres ,I never thought we had shot so many but thats it till the wee darlings are on the xmas break.
