Cannyboy 34
had it a few times mate i think its caused by the rabbit kicking back when hes backed into a stop end.. maybe wrong but thats what ive always put it down to Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,217
Aye, you would be surprised what damage a rabbit can do, the ferret is going through the dark tunnels on scent and mostly the rabbits run but then whack, a back foot come out the dark and clocks the stinker in the face etc. I've had ferrets come out with some nasty scratches on their muzzles and flanks. Them rabbits kick hard when cornered. Quote Link to post
max abell 198
As said proberbly a rabbit mate i picked up a lamped rabbit the other night that wasn't quite dead and the bast**d kicked me and left 2 very deep scratches from one end of my hand to the other had a job to stop them bleeding imagine what a kick like that must feel like to a ferret must be like a human getting a boot in the head from a horse they are hard little sods our ferrets Quote Link to post
