B.P.R 2,798
Ive been working night shifts(and days!) lately, so have been driving around Edinburgh through the night. I've counted 11 foxes that I have seen crossing roads and I seen 2 foxes which I assume were young playing in long grass outside the castle. I wonder why there are so many? Do people feed them in the city's and I wonder where they would stay? I seen a program a while back about some charity organisation catching them and re locating them to avoid being shot etc? Also there is a few reports if you search the net about them getting into houses and one even attacked a baby.

fcuktheban 140
I feed them regularly when my son doesn't put the bag in the outside bin They always go for mine because of the rabbit bits. They tear through the one spot the rabbit is in.
B.P.R 2,798
Well just drove back into the castle and there was mr Charlie at the entrance. It just stood there in the middle of the road. As I got closer it walked to the side and started eating what looks like a bit of chicken. It was less than 5 foot from the side of the car. By the time I got my Phone out it had walked about 10yards away. Got a picture but not the greatest. Can't post it as I'm on my phone. These foxes ain't shy at all! Anybody fancy bringing a dog up here haha. The guy on the gate said he sees around 5 foxes every night.
Ideation 8,217
v - in the burgh there is a huge amount of green space, and a shit ton of them live in the grave yards, and a few around the base of the castle, as well as in and around the gardens.
RossM 8,149
my mums neighbour was, probably still is feeding them, think it was 5 or 6 a few years ago, and im not talking scraps. She was buying the stuff that was going out of date from the scotmid, chicken, ham, sausage rolls, the works. her reason for doing so? so the wouldnt take her cats! i live trapped one and one of her cats, humanely dispatched the fox and released the cat unharmed but a little pissed off...... fcuktheban 140
The public is not allowed near the lines for a good reason, you can die. I certainly would'nt risk my dogs getting fried just to get a fox. Everyone knows the foxes are there but hopefully they are smart enough not to risk their dogs lives.
