neil cooney 10,416
Just out of interest, when you say Atkinson aseel do you mean that the fowl come down from a family kept by H.A. himself or is it just a name put on a type ?

DUCKWING 302
LISTEN UP LADS , I HATE TO PISS ON ANYONES PARADE PLATTS HAS A VERY BAD NAME AS A BULLSHITTER IN THE GAMEFOWL WORLD BY MEN THAT KNOW ,....... WHAT THESE BIRDS ARE CAN BE ANYONES GUESS !!!!!!!. A FEW YEARS AGO HE CONTACTED TWO OLD FRIENDS ASKING FOR THE OLD YANKIE CLAMDIGGER LINE [ which incidently is now crossed to death with other lines ] WHICH HE WAS SELLING AS THE OLD FAMILY OF CHESHIRE PYLES WHICH HAS BEEN AS A STRAIGHT FAMILY GONE SINCE BEFORE ATKINSON !!!!!........ I COULD GO ON ABOUT HIS OTHER WONDER LINES BUT YOU GET THE POINT ITS EASY FOR UNSCRUPULESS PEOPLE TO DROP NAMES FROM BOOKS AND MAGAZINES ON FOWL THAT HAVE NO CONNECTION APART FROM COLOUR GREENHORNS REMEMBER ....... CAVEAT EMPTOR !!!! DUCKWING
