fat man 4,741 Posted August 6, 2011 Report Share Posted August 6, 2011 just woundering when they should be picked??? ive never seen any ripe and ready to go, but this year there seems to be a massive amount of unripe ones about Mid october they should be ripe,i remember as a young lad picking them for halloween,also my diging buddy loves them so we cant go near any earths where there is hazel nuts or all he does is pick them and leaves the diging to the rest of the gang,lol.
