The one 8,405 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Share Posted July 10, 2011 When we were out this morning the lucher came out of cover with a wasp on her flank we flicked it off after it had stung her ,but she didnt looked happy and we came straight home she looked the worse for wear got her dosed her up with Loratadine and shes fine now after a couple of hours .Scary a wasp could do that to bitch of that size Quote Link to post
DogMagic 461 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Share Posted July 10, 2011 Chances are she disturbed a nest in cover mate and she got stung a few times but yes wasp stings can be serious for a dog. I always carry a pot with 2 piriton tablets per dog while im out and about in the summer time. Dogs can even suffer from anaphalactic shock same as we can. Quote Link to post

Teddd 84 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Share Posted July 10, 2011 had a terrier swarmed the other year..poor cnut stung over 200 times inside ears...mouth the works,dotty doo got stung a fair few times trying to get them off in a stream(i wasnt there at the time )piritine and a trip to the vets saved the dogs life...oh and dotty Quote Link to post
