Kits when to introduce to the others

Hi all when do you all introduce kits to the rest of the clan ?? Ie what age cheers j

Depends what the 'clan' consists of mate, if it's just jills, and no real nutters or hard ones, then pretty much from 8-12 weeks. Not with hobs though, for obvious reasons.

Twelve weeks jills should be alright at anytime as they should mother them ,

I remove hob from court once hes done his bit and leave my 2 jills together.

When they got young they mother each others np.

Dont very often keep kits beyond 8 weeks so once they gone hob goes back in the court.

i put my kits and jill together when kits are about 9 wks . never let any hob get to them till hes fully out of season then its all together for the cold long nights

I wanted to keep the hob in a cage inside my converted shed with the kits and jill do you think that would be a problem?

that would be ok if /when hes out of season then they all will get along just fine .its no hard and fast rule but round about the time you put your clocks back put them together ready for the long cold nights they will keep each other worm .jills with out kit ok all year round i have two litters that are in with each other but they did not give birth together and they went together when the kits was 8 weeks and they are bang on 4 weeks later
