Trimming back my bramble hedge yesterday when i came across 3 big fat black brambles. Anyone beat that?? Im guessing down south someone will have been picking by now?

Another fortnight and i will be knee deep in them! :tongue2:

That is early Trappa. I think this year is going to be bountiful.

I picked enough elderflower today for my champaigne in about a half an hour. Also there's a sloe bush near me that's ranking already that didn't produce a sloe last year. Better start buying my gin.

Nice one neil. Havent even given sloes a thought yet, might have a mooch tomorrow.

This is going to be a cracking bramble year, your right, seems to be loads of bees about to pollinate the flowers, maybe the pro beekeepers will know why. My bramble hedge is full of green brambles at the mo, gonna be a bumper crop in a couple weeks!!!
