budgie123 163
bats and bat roosts are prtected and you are risking prosecution if you tamper with either.you can be fined up to £5000 for each bat you kill. You need to speak to english nature or your local bat society how will give you advice. 1 Quote Link to post

pegleg33 134
Nobody apart from you and your neighbour knows they are there? Unlucky because now You, your neighbour and everybody who reads this post knows they are there Personally I'd leave well alone unless you have plenty of time and money to spare Quote Link to post
moley 115
leave them alone til winter , most bats have summer roosts, (roof) and winter roost(dead tree)if you check they are not there in winter and then block up the hole , there won,t be a problem, personnaly i have lived in houses with summer bat roosts and have never worried about them Quote Link to post
