rob190364 2,594
My bitch came into season yesterday. The only other bitch I've ever had was a neutered rescue dog so I'm not sure about time scales etc. How long does it normally last for? How long do I need to keep her away from other dogs? And do I need to cut down on exercise or alter feeding or anything?

I would keep her away from any dogs for the Next 3 weeks. Some bitches vary from when they will Stand for a Dog.My old bitch Would stand for a Dog on the 7th Day of her Season, but as i stated earlier not all Bitches are the Same.As for the Feeding and Exercise i would Carry on as Normal. Richie10 345
My bitch is in season at the moment. It's a nightmare, the dogs are constantly making noise and she seems to be in season for a week and half now, my other bitch never seem be in season for long. It's hard keeping them apart and quiet!
