Simoman 110
How long has she been doing it, is it due to a bite, small foreign body, skin irritation, more information needed if you need any usefull advice............. Quote Link to post

Simoman 110
I'd check for a foreign body or thorn first Quote Link to post
skycat 6,174
May have brushed up against some irritating plant: try using a soothing antiseptic cream on it. Sometimes these things are buggers to get rid of because the itch drives the dog to chew away at the same place and stop it healing. It can then get infected with a bacterial infection: bacteria getting into the raw flesh. The only thing I really found which works is Nu Stock: a sulphur based ointment. Not easy to get hold of in the UK, but it might be worth asking in a chemist if they have any sulphur based creams. Quote Link to post
