drive by shooting...

Recommended Posts

hi lads,

took the HW100 out last night with young david and his T10 up to our livery permission on the south downs last night and spent an unproductive hour due to pretty gusty conditions, although i did manage one, at about 35m off the bipod, and naturally got the boy to go and fetch it for me

shame the sun was still so high, as it'd made a much better picture if it had been a bit more towards dusk, but there you go.

i decided to nip over to the smaller livery under the flyover, the one where i had the copper chopper out last year, so i duly rang plod to inform them of my intentions and off we went, enjoying an easy drive up and down the hedge for about 3/4 of an hour, taking turns to have a shot, with daisy(he hates being called that!) sitting behind me in the passenger seat til it got that only the really tiny ones were coming out and we called it a day.

best shot of the evening was us doing a simultaneous shot on the count of three at two half grown bunnies at about 35m, not a great distance, but very satisfying to see them both roll over like mirror images of each other.

not a massive bag, but it is a tiny wee field, and we had a laugh...

cheers lads,

mark, i've put it up now mate  ... you gonna get some up yourself buddy?

chris, a new HW100kt will cost you about £750, and they go from around £4-600 second hand, although now and again a bargain one comes up. in defence of their price tho, they are one of the few PCP's that are absolutely bang on straight out of the box mate.

cheers, wurz
