Fuggers 0
Hi, I have registered in the hope someone can help me. I have been asked to sell a Gerber gift set for someone and I'm not really sure where to start, as I know ebay for one will not allow the sale of knives/blades. Is there anywhere you can sell a set like this legally? It consists of a Gerber crucial, Onyx 50 and a Silva L4 Headlamp and batteries. Any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers Fugs

Cheers Fugs Hiya mate, if swords machetes etc are available online then i don't see what would be wrong with it. I am not sure exactly what knives they are (dimensions), but as they are Gerber and part of a gift set, I wouldn't worry about it. It would classed as more of a 'collectable' item rather than 'offensive weapon' (though I wouldn't carry anything like that around with me in public). I can only assume that eBay refuse to sell knives/blades because they dont want to be caught up in a moral/ethical media frenzy if someone were to purchase a knife and use it illegally. Also, check what is legal regarding length of blade, fixed blade, lock knife etc just to be on the safe side. Hope this helps.

Fuggers 0
Thank you for the welcome and info. Does anyone know where I could sell this set? Could I maybe post it in the for sale section of this forum or is there a rule against that?
