dogs-n-natives 1,182
That bitch was very good blood.. chippers Nell, boy blue, dougie all there. Your right they would have been just the business for what you want. I will speak to Clive and see if he would let her rear a litter at some stage. He damaged his eye this day remember, he was bong eyed for a week after.... but it was a successful day for us 1 Quote Link to post

Themaverick 110
your best bet is 2 but a topic in the wanted section asking for worthy bitches for your dog, whatx you looking for ?you need be asking yourself what extra thing you want from adding this new blood ?more height? less height?more speed?more stamina?more grit?better coat?better feed ?all this should be thought about before you pick the right bitch ,plus you also have assure the owner of the bitch that your dog is that aswell by seeing it work i think i want a saluki bitch , a good breed i think . hey kile, yes saluki may be ok,but think about what quarry your after...its hard to beat the collie cross for brains, i personal have added a little saluki blood to my collie greyhound whippet line,my results: i have ended up with a very fast racy bitch with buckets of pace but she is as thick as the wall ! and very stubborn, iv never had this problem with my collie crosses,so i suggest you stick with greyhound mixed with a little collie blood, too many breeds in a blood line means you dont now what your likely result is...just my opinion Quote Link to post

Richie10 345
If you are used to collie types then training a saluki is a different kettle of fish. 1 Quote Link to post
