studing my lucher

Recommended Posts

hi just thinking about puting my lurcher out for stud this year, he is a collie whippit gray. 24 inch and 5 years old. just woundring how mush for ? . thanks .. :whistling:

main thing to consider is @ can any pottencial pups from this dog find homes !! and why are you doing it? ;)

because he is 5 years old and i want a pup from him, he is a realy good hunting dog amd i can trust him with all livestock.

If somebody wanted to use your dog would you be ok letting them see the dog work?

yes no problem with that nothing to hide ..

well in that case you dont need to charge anything then ,,do you just take a pup thats if he aint firing blanks

generally people charge the price of a pup or get pick of the litter.

Hi Kile,   Long time no see, He's looking in good shape. just a note for anyone who is wanting to use him as a sire.. I've seen the dog work several times when Kile lived up by me, and the dog is

Hi Kile,

Long time no see, He's looking in good shape. just a note for anyone who is wanting to use him as a sire.. I've seen the dog work several times when Kile lived up by me, and the dog is everything Kile says he is. A keen hunter, fast, and a good taker of all stuff, no f*****g about.

I also admired the dogs feet and all-round solid conformation, he is a tough dog that worked the rough fells and forest up my way like he had been born and raised here. I like to see dogs like this, especially ones that handle all quarry and all land with equal success, unfortunately there are not enough about. Hes a genuine lad that want a pup from a genuine dog,

Kile: I also think a good coursing bred saluki type bitch would give you cracking pups mate, but dont restrict yourself to a certain type, and make sure you see her working too, you dont want to put him over any old shit and end up with a litter of useless pot lickers that you may well get the bad name for.. ... good luck

catch ya later
