B.P.R 2,798 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 altberg is a little company that is in richmond near catterick. thats where the army infantry soldiers do all their training, when we are in training we get took there and advised to buy a pair. they made mine tailored to my feet and would do that for anybody going into the shop itself. other than that just type in 'altberg' on google and they will have a website. either altberg peacekeepers or the warriors. ive had mine for 4 year and they are still in mint condt. lowas are good though. just a bit heavy for what i do. when im out i wear trainers! i wear boots all week and 7 month in afghan i was wearing the lowa deserts so when i go out on the weekend the last thing i want to wear is a pair of boots. id rather go barefoot haha not many people know about altbergs on here. they are far better than meindl's and on par with lowa's but lighter, if all us army lads wear them all day, every day, in all conditions. they must be good. boots are your preferance though. adidas pt trainers all the way haha Quote Link to post
