You know what, I was feeling a bit sorry for you and your mate until you posted that. Just had another look at his gear, and even with the leather vs polypropolene webbing argument/choice aside, it still is cheap and chucked together, where is the skill or craftsmanship in knocking a few rivets in? And what's this all about? "31. TERRIER COUPLE As you can see all the links are welded." All the links then except the ones with the most stress on?
