keeping cool

with this warmish weather were getting how u lot keeping the ferts cool, today they were laying on thier backs sweating so i put a cat litter tray in there half full of water they loved it

I do the same for mine too, but I also put some of those plastic cat toy balls in. They seem to love jumping in and throwing them out.

Problem is if I ever ferret near water they always try and go in for a little dip.

i freeze water bottles and throw them into cages to keep them nice a cool. works well i think..

Aye two set's of empty plastic bottles 3/4 fill with water freeze them and swap them over daily

large bird of prey bath full to the top so they can jump in to cool down they love a swim and helps keep them cool

You can buy a cooling pad from some pet shops.Just pop it in the freezer for a couple of hours, they are made for pet rabbits but will do the same job.
