Rey27 83
...Ok, here is my problem:- My 3year old Patterdale bitch keeps biting and pulling the hairs out from her front left paw & back left paw. she draws blood sometimes from the front left paw & even started biting her pad a little. i have soaked them in salt water, and put an antiseptic on them, but doesn't seem to have worked. So my questions are:- Any ideas why she is doing this? best way to treat it?(preferably without going to a vet) any advice or help welcome! cheers!! Rey27 Quote Link to post
sallie 67
sometimes these things can start from boredom in the kennel or house. Have you perhaps worked or exercised her less this last month or so? Quote Link to post
Cold Ethyl 63
Shave it then give her piriton and keep it clean with savlon wound wash works wonders and seems to heal things nice and quick a little vaseline will put her off chewing it and keep dirt out of it. Quote Link to post
