matt_hooks 188
And don't forget you'll probably need to show them a permission letter for the land you wish to shoot on, and they will want to check the land if it's not approved already. Oh, and most importantly for them, don't forget the cheque for £26! Quote Link to post
halamrose 24
I think you have to request expanding ammunition as well. Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
If the calibre is issued for vermin, then expanding ammunition should be added automatically, but worth mentioning to the FEO. Quote Link to post

My feo keeps trying to reduce it at every renewal but as I buy in lots of 500 to save cash,Im not budging and he can't reduce it as long as I keep buying in 500 round lots,Im also allowed to hold 200 rounds of 22-250rem and buy 100 which is down to the fact that I home load these... matt_hooks 188
I was told that "economic reasons", or "home loading", were not valid reasons for increasing the holding of ammunition when I asked for my "buy" limit on .243 to be increased to allow me to buy whole boxes of bullets! It amazies me how different feo's translate the law to suit themselves could it maybe be due to your location mate,I buy my bullet heads in boxes of 100 dont think the shops round here would split the boxes. jackg 7
Don't forget to ask for a sound mod as well. There is a guide to filling out form 101 on the BASC web site Quote Link to post
