He is smelling stronger too, ferret aftershave i call it. Around the march/april time woodchip, the jills will come onto heat aswell. Frank. Quote Link to post

Kay 3,709 Posted February 5, 2007 Report Share Posted February 5, 2007 To be honest it depends if you house then outside or indoors, there have been some posts of peoples ferrets already being pregnant & a post on here saying a jill dropped a litter a few weeks ago, mineare housed outside and were slightly in season a few weeks ago , not enough to be causing any problems yet though Quote Link to post

What with the colder weather coming later to kill off the nettles and rubbish, then rabbits having young earlier the ferreting seasons getting shorter. Quote Link to post
