a trouting we will go

today me bro in law and me were off fishing to a local stillwater it was so cold today with some of the lake frozen til well after noon the fish were hard to come by today fishing slow and eep :D , i had these two and tom had 1 all hard won fish , we seen some skiens of geese pass over head on there way north ,all in all a good day we had its been a good long while since i was out flicking the fluff :kiss: heres a couple to peruse over note the ice on the lake cheers rob

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and the two fish are not the same one :no: just look in there mouth two different flies how dare you :laugh::laugh:

danny it scares me to say this :o i was fishing a sporting ticket ,all my fish i catch my mam and dad will eat , so these two went on to live another day it was £15 for catch an d release ,£25 for 3 fish catch and realese i still had a good day but very cold onm the fingers retrieving cheersrob

IR i used to do a lot of river fishing when i was younger on a local river the derwent in county durham , i spent i lot to time trying to catch the browns most of the sport was with fish in the ounces rather than the pounds the best ever i did have was one and a hlaf pound a really nice wild brown ,but thosae smaller fish were great to catch especiaaly on dry fly so have to be so quick to strike there like lightening takers cheers rob
