A BIT OF LUCK

went for a walk with the mutts today for a few hours when i thought i would try a few fields for the big ears looks perfect for them also plenty of rabbits knocking around no farms or buildings around looks like a big warren right in the middle of the field nearest cover about 300 yards away from the warren but think ill leave them till next season may concentrate on bigger things will try and get there for around 7ish in the morning if any luck will let you know tomorrow but no pics sorry DM

Are you saying your quite happy to run your mutts on "big ears" at this time of the year? The seasons over mate, there will be leverets on the ground just now

and if there aren't the does will be carrying.:no:

Are you saying your quite happy to run your mutts on "big ears" at this time of the year? The seasons over mate, there will be leverets on the ground just now

and if there aren't the does will be carrying.:no:

alright thanks for the replys didnt mean to say going for the big ears but the fields i will be taking the bitch on may contain them if she does go for them i cannot stop her sorry for the mispelt talking i havent seen a long ear on there all i said was it looked as thouigh they may be there cheers DM :victory:

plus the ground is getting hard again, give the dogs a rest till sep :yes:

hi bird i know the ground is hard but there is a public footpath going through there i will try my best i will only take the path through i will not wonder through the field itself i do know the breeding season of the hare and rabbit but like i said if 1 gets up i cant stop her cheers for the advice mate DM :victory:

tsssshhhh, dont people have it easy... Some dogs have no choice but to run on hard ground.

 

 

yes Russ true, but in the hunting season, and ive run my dog on all types of ground, some you could just about walk on .!
