Hi, mate.

My two boys have been shooting with my Crossman Ratty for the past couple of years and have managed OK with it but I wanted them to learn properly with a recoiling rifle so they've been useing an old BSA Meteor that was given to us quite happily for the past few weeks.

My boys are 9 and 12, average build.

Cheers

Depends on your budget pal. If money is not an issue though I would go for a weihrauch hw95 because they are light, accurate and built with the quality that you would expect from a weihrauch.

Diana 280 Carbines are also light! If money is no object then a PCP might be the way to go, depends on how old your lad is and how much you have to spend! If on a budget and you want new, look for a Cometa 50! Some good reviews up about these little beatsies and they were designed to be used by the younger shooter!
