my lad is goalie for a local team.won the league in first season and kept 17 clean sheets.just been taken in by a goalkeeping academy.trouble is he has no fear and gets a fair few knocks but never cries out.played at blackburns ground last year in a tournament.300 mile round trip but he loved it.post-589-0-50151000-1300651165_thumb.jpgpost-589-0-23601100-1300651207_thumb.jpg

http://www.pittsburghpanthers.com/photogallery/gallery_index.html?school=pitt&sport=m-soccer& My son in trainin , he is the 4th pic. very proud , though was really hard when he left in july for me and his mother but been out in oct and headin there this friday , they have to fly the nest eventually but him going to the states was a big shock for me initially.

tb25 little tip , which ever foot he kicks with , get him to start usin the other , does it now and in a few yrs he will be comftable wiht both feet , which will help enormously .

My lad played for the local side Senrab which produced many good pros from this area,Ray Wilkins,John Terry,Ledley King to name a few.....played from the age of 9 through to 17,never quite good enough to make the grade but i believe any young lad turning out for a well run club will get great benefit and self discipline.....can only do them good, great to see, give them plenty of encouragement

Lanesra, so your lad actually travelled halfway across the world to avoid getting stuck with the gooners....just shows you eh :D
