secretagentmole 1,701
Mrs Mole has been shopping folks, the object of her desire??? Meet the Air Arms CZ T 200, oh boy what a tale! Saw this baby online, for £250 in perfect working order, 10 shot conversion, silencer and scope, fully adjustable butt and alledgedly 10.5 ft/lbs of power for £250, he went to get it filled yesterday, air escaped and by the time he got home, tank empty, tried it again this morning, took the adaptor off, air escaped at the gauge end. OK, this has been stored for 5 years, no charge, possibly the seal at that end, could be the gauge, if the gauge, thick end of £100 for the part, could be replaced with a quick fill valve at that end possibly, make life a lot easier, £50 for parts. In the end we handed over £150, if it is simply seals we send him another £50, if it requires other parts, we send him nothing, looks like we have a trip to Mr Webster! Edited to say that the scope on top is an AGS 3-9x40 MD2, that will be replaced with a Tasco! Edited March 13, 2011 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post

Cracking bit of kit mate, Using it for targets? And you still after a .177 I could be well interested in a swap of actions. I have .177 S200 I would rather .22 I think. Cheers pal Karpman Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
No after a .22, she now has an S200 in .22 and the T200 in .177! I also read that the T200 only makes 7.5 joules, is there any way you can get it raised to the 16 joule limit? Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,589
Ahhh now I see what you mean. This is an S200 moley. Made by a Czech company for Air Arms. Still answer as before on your other thread asking the same question. Take it to a reputable gunsmith who knows the gun! Simon Edit to add. Wrong section. Tech request for help post and you have already asked the question there. Don't worry moley, no-one will miss the fact your good lady now has an S200! Nope, is the T200, honest, only available in .177! Honest this does exist I am not mad! Ha ha ha, tomorrow we invade Russia! Banana, Loganberry, Raspberry Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
You cannot believe everything you read in an owners manual, this gun is 16 Joules, it says so on the trigger action, so it is full powered, Mrs Mole very very happy, not to the gunsmiths, charge of moley feet sounds, ha ha! matt_hooks 188
It may well SAY 16 joules on the action, I bet it's not. I bet it's more like 15 1/2, maybe a little less, depending on the pellet used. Still, close enough to full power to be devastating! £250 for that sounds like a TOTAL bargain, even with the extra you had to pay to get it up and running. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I know Matt, but it is a damned site better than the 7.5 joules it reckons that it should make as a T200! Yes I did read the instruction manual as well, I refer you to page 29 of it! £150 was paid due to the air cylinder problem, update, phoned the wonderful bods at Air Arms, if the gauge is forked beyond use, we can have it converted to quick fill fitting, at the factory for about £50 notes! That is good value for money! even with postage and packing there and back! That will also solve the problem of having to remove the ruddy silencer every time you want a refill! matt_hooks 188
I was wondering whether that was what you meant, that you managed to knock a load off because of the cylinder problem, good negotiating moley! Quickfill is well worth the money, makes things so much easier. You READ the INSTRUCION MANUAL? What kind of madman are you? Quote Link to post
garfield 23
hhmm was gonna ask about power levels but i asume its been fettled as i thought the original cz200t was only a 10m target rifle doing 6ftlb but it could be a cz s200 in a t stock (very popular conversion) if you need to make sure just give bill sanders a ring at aa and give him the serial no. he should be able to check what action it is and how it left the factory Quote Link to post
