secretagentmole 1,701
Went to the new permission today and had a look at where all the rabbit runs and holes were, too damned windy to shoot, and a couple of American fighter jocks were going Top Gun all over the sky (could not make out if they were Eagles or Hornets). Anwyways, waiting for the wind to die down and I noticed this bunny, now named Stealth, damned thing was black as coal. I have heard of black wild rabbits, but never seen one, cursed as I left the camera at home! Got myself a good position on the access track, there is a rise in it and if I lie before the crown of the rise, I get a good 50 yard view down the track, but I am at or below bunny eyeline! Waited for wind to drop some more, the rabbits were crossing the track in front and down wind of me, but the squally conditions were sometimes blowing me offline as the wind veered and gusted. Must have hit 60mph in some of those gusts. Wind speed tomorrow much less, so might try then! Quote Link to post
