lurcher330 2,301
went out last night with my 6 year old son for the first time to show him a bit off lamping just went to some local playing feilds. We entered the first feild and the bitch took a handy squatter out of the seat and with the squeals we had a fox approach he did'nt come too close but we got a bit of a spin out of him before he hit the cover and my son was loving it we went through a few more feilds and we had 3 rabbits in the bag but then we went up to the carpark and we had another rabbit in the beam that did'nt look quite right but i slipted the bitch and i noticed it was a black and white pet rabbit that did'nt have a chance of getting away from the bitch and she took it cleanly not leaving a mark on it so now we have 10 dogs 9 ferrets and a f---king pet rabbit thank god we did'nt catch the fox!but has anyone else come across pet rabbits while out hunting because i have come across a good few were fools must think they can release them were there are wild rabbits and they will survive Quote Link to post

Simoman 110
On one of my old rabbiting spots i used to see a few black rabbits and some showing obvious Dutch markings, it was next to a housing estate so i assume it was a dumping ground for unwanted pets....... Quote Link to post
