New gun?

Recommended Posts

Thinking about getting my first PCP rifle as I've only had springers before and I'm stuck between either the s410, s510 and the BSA r-10. Any suggestions? Not really big on guns more into the dogs so thought I'd ask the shooting for a bit of advice?

My opinion would be an s410 as i own one and are fantastic rifles.

classic or carbine length would be personal choice as both are the same accuracy

i currently have a classic but i am going to sell it soon and pick up a carbine as i would prefer a shorter one.

I have an R10, and have owned it for about a month. Prior to buying the R10 I was an out and out "Springer" shooter, in fact I have owned my current "Springer" for about 18 years, An HW80.

The R10 was the first PCP I have owned, and it is outstanding!!!!

It is light, unbelieveably accurate, and a total pleasure to shoot. I opted for the177 Cal as most of my previous guns have been that calibre.

You get 150 shots per full charge of the bottle in 177 and around 200+ in .22. I have fired over 1000 pellets through mine, and it has been a total pleasure to shoot, and I have incurred no problems with it whatsoever!

I would recommend the R10 to anyone, its money well spent.

Andy.
