x200hc bipod

Springer and bipod. Universally regarded as a "very bad idea"!

There are loads of threads on here asking the same thing. Basically the recoil works in such a way that accuracy is dependent entirely on a consistent hold, and a bipod can't provide that.

just a quick question as anyone put a bipod on the tx200???

thanks for your time

cheers lads

iv not used a bipod on a tx but used to use a hw97k with a dragon claw bipod attached to the underlever it was one of these: My link i had to file about a mil off the top of the clamp so the underlever could close but to be honest the poi changed when i put it on and took it off and the groups where not as tight with the bipod on so i wouldn't use it to be honest. the bipod was quality and solid tho

What about a bean bag?

I have a rucksack full off beans from one inside sown roughly into and pillow case, The beans come from an old bean bag hanging in a skip used it for my photography here and there, Weighs nothing got a pocket on the front and sides for sarnies and a flask etc.

I don't mind not looking a tart to much either, The softer material on the rucky th better ex army are great. But I love all that stuff anyway beats the hell out of chavtree imho.

Just a suggestions, As you can imagine I look a proper nob when out and about lol

Edit: not tested this on my gun in the field yet, Can't see why it wouldn't work.

Anything like a beany bag, pillow in a rucksack, anything that comfortably supports and cushions your leading forearm while your hand supports the rifle forestock will do a wonderful job for your accuracy with a spring rifle.

NEVER ATTACH A BIPOD to a spring rifle. Don't even think about it!
