You can pick these tool boxes up at Homebase, B&Q or whereever, as long as they are own brand for about a tenner for two. Drill some air holes, fit a strap and you have yourself a cracking, warm, waterprrof, hardwearing carrying box. Quote Link to post

Jamie m 668 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Share Posted February 15, 2011 Had a think about it myself a few times , when I was a kid we had a box made out of that tough corigated plastic the stuff made like cardboard , we built a few of our own as kids ded proud of em we were but they rarely made it back from outings drop the once and they smashed come to think of it if we'd of caught as many rabbits as we smoked rolleys would of been mega bags lol Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179 Posted February 16, 2011 Report Share Posted February 16, 2011 I use one of those plastic tools boxes, it doesnt get hot or wet or fill with condensation like everyone says they will. I have a ply divider to split it into two sections and seperate opening lids underneath the plastic lid. To be honest though you may as well buy a ready made one, they've got so cheap recently. Picked up a small bowback at the CLA for £20 without even haggling or trying to shop around. By the time you've bought the tool box and fiddled around fitting a strap, air holes etc it ends up costing the same either way. Quote Link to post
