Carry Box

Recommended Posts

With all this recession and everything getting more expensive, its nice to know sometimes you can be surprised.

You can pick these tool boxes up at Homebase, B&Q or whereever, as long as they are own brand for about a tenner for two.

Drill some air holes, fit a strap and you have yourself a cracking, warm, waterprrof, hardwearing carrying box.

I use one of those plastic tools boxes, it doesnt get hot or wet or fill with condensation like everyone says they will. I have a ply divider to split it into two sections and seperate opening lids underneath the plastic lid. To be honest though you may as well buy a ready made one, they've got so cheap recently. Picked up a small bowback at the CLA for £20 without even haggling or trying to shop around. By the time you've bought the tool box and fiddled around fitting a strap, air holes etc it ends up costing the same either way.
