boyo 1,398 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 just aquired today a old coursing cup dating back to early sixties and perhaps earlier stands about 20 ins tall from theyeovil and sherbourne coursing clubit is the charlie fox memorial cup it comes in 3 peices the bottom plinth engraved with all the willers up to seventies and then the cup itself with 2 huge solid handles then the lid which sits flat on top of the cup with a mount and silver hare on it .it needs a real good clean but is a superb coursing cup .it is not for sale as i collect cousing memoribillia just would like to know its value Quote Link to post

I recon its value would only be measured in what its worth to someone who collects that type of stuff too and what they would be willing to pay for it, say for instance, those who maybe won that cup back in the day, its not that long since, or, maybe the National Coursing Club. I suppose it really don't matter, because as they always say on the Antiques Roadshow, as long as you enjoy it, then thats its real value, right there. (Though I betcha most flog it and buy a package deal to the Med or a new Skoda..!! ) Quote Link to post
