FERRETBOY 680
we decided well have another go at spinning a few rabbits over as on previous occasions we,ve been having a little bad luck especially with the weather and have been coming home either empty handed or with a brace at the most .as bramble seemed to be a little saw on her feet last week i have been walking her for a couple of hours every day or two to build her back up to normal and to harden her pads.so me my dad and world.hunters set of about eight ish which was a little early and on arrival the wind had once again gone dead like last week but we were not to be beaten. after revealing not a thing on the first field our high hopes started to fade but not for long .we carried on for another 15 mins before we had our first slip which was a little more than a wish and hope and ended in a miss.we pushed on for another five or ten mins and after a few swings with the lamp we caught the eyes of another two coneys feeding in the middle of the field.bramble was slipped and the rabbits split up from each other with bramble taking chase after the rabbit closest to us,it was a great little course in and out of the ruth grass and ended in a catch just out of sight. walking back to the car the wind started to pick up a bit but to no avail we didnt spot anymore rabbits worth running either to far away or to close to the hedge line.we probabley try this spot in about six weeks time to see if it improves but for the next few weeks were gonna stay local.hopefully going out tonight with world.hunters and witton so i will let you know how we get on. good hunting rew Quote Link to post
