poacherman 353 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Share Posted January 24, 2011 was out a walk yesterday and down at the local farm i never seen the sheep in the park and my pup was off the lead. hes not fully stock broken yet and he was a bit in front and next minute a seen him taken off but it was too late too shout on him, so the pup chased the sheep to the top off the park but never went near them. soon as the sheep stopped he turned back and headed back down towards me no damage done but a seen to him when he came back, next minute two men from the farm appeared with with video camera and started questioning ma friends about the dog and saying they want the dog. then the police were out snooping about aswell. four police men were out for a pup chasing a few sheep through a park. can anything happen to me for this Quote Link to post

If so then i cant see the fuzz wasting time on paperwork over your dog chasing a few sheep, if no damage was made then there wasn't a problem in my eyes, farmers will just pick at anyone with working dogs due to poachers, if i was you i wouldnt lose sleep mate. bobby-b 1 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Share Posted January 24, 2011 I wouldn't take him there for a while. farmers are within the law to shoot a dog chasing sheep if it is on there land. when i used to go out years ago some farmers had started to place cats eyes on the ground with a spike sticking out just in front of them and know of one bloke who lost a dog that way whilst out lamping. and they say were the bad ones Quote Link to post
