Ideation 8,217 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Some kind of small lurcher / whippet - exact breed is unimportant just go for what you like and then look for a well reared litter out of parents doing exactly what you want. DogMagic 461 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 I can honestly say that out of my 5 dogs the most usefull ones to me when ferreting are the beagle x jack and the collie greyhound. Both mark well, both have instand reactions, both know whats going on downstairs. BUT if a rabbit slips the net its the collie greyhound who makes sure it still ends up in the back of my van. The other 3 are still to young to be able to judge but are looking good so far. Quote Link to post
