andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. I use a .20 90 and I really rate them I've never owned an Evo and it's been quite a while since I last used one. How would you compare the two? I didn't really rate the Theoben's trigger compared to the HW's and from what I remember about them, they had quite a sharp kick compared to the 90? I know the Evo's a bit lighter than the 90 but most of my shooting's done standing so I prefer a little extra weight. I just wondered how you'd compare the two? Cheers Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi Rabbit, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Theoben rifles but have never owned one as yet. I can’t really comment on the Evolution but I bet someone will do shortly. I know Andy uses gas rams etc. As for good rifles, I am a big fan of the Weihrauch and Air Arms range. A HW 97K / KT, HW77K or a HW95K are really good rifles and will take max range quarry in the right hands. An Air Arms ProSport or TX200HC mark 3 are also very good rifles. Si Quote Link to post
rabbit.slayer.no.1 3
the evo is about a ton lighter lol. but with the 90 it felt more like a realy balanced gun. i wish i hadnt sold my 90 as it was a smoother shot . the evo has a bigger kick when shot and a cleaner line of shot but im putting that down to it being a .20. for looks i would say the evo but for down right over all hunting use i will say the hw90k any day of the week. but thats just the way i see it Quote Link to post
