Yes mate they will hop onto your ferrets dogs and even you, they can be easily removed with either a flea spray, powder or frontline spot on. Some say that rabbit fleas wont live on anything but rabbits, but I will tell you they do and on dogs, and will give you a few bites too. Treated with frontline the ferrets should keep fleas at bay, but its always best to freeze your rabbits solid before feeding them to ferrets. I freeze mine whole, guts and all for the ferrets, freezing kills all the parasites, fleas worms etc and the ferrets just leave skin and bone.

Mate they wont touch you or your animals when were out lamping if you look in the bottom of the game bag or box we store them in ,in the car its crawling with fleas as they drop off as the rabbit cools .And as for freezing the rabbits thats to kill any tapeworm eggs ect its a bit excessive to freeze rabbits for a flea

i tend to leave the good organs in for the best results just disguard stomch and shit bags bladder etc.. give them a better range of vits and goodness ,back to the question yes they can and do but they dont seem to stay on ferrets for long ,get em sprayed and change bedding regular and you wont have a problem ,all the best
